New Horizons

The Justice Education Center regularly identifies issues and opportunities to address them in both policy and programming arenas.

By way of example, several new areas of exploration include the following:

• Create a partnership with a leading hydroponic greenhouse company to enable students to learn about and become involved with “farm to table” healthy food production and preparation.
• Establish biotechnology learning opportunities for middle and high school students in collaboration with area universities and community colleges.
• Develop a national symposium on law enforcement and community wellness designed to share both promising and best practices throughout the country.
