Connecticut Project Longevity Street Outreach and Intervention Program 
Request for Proposals

The Justice Education Center, Inc., in partnership with the Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Court Support Services Division (JBCSSD), is seeking proposals from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and individual contractors to provide Street Outreach and Community Engagement services to juveniles and adults as necessary to assist individuals and families currently working with Project Longevity to reduce recidivism and increase pro-social activities, behavior, and community connections. Services will be provided within the cities of New Haven and Waterbury.

Project Longevity Housing Request for Proposals

Posted July 8, 2025.

The Justice Education Center, Inc. in partnership with the State of Connecticut, Department of Housing
(DOH) and the Connecticut Judicial Branch’s Court Support Services Division (JBCSSD), is seeking
proposals from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to provide housing placement and
stabilization services, as necessary to assist individuals and families currently working with Project
Longevity who are housing unstable, including living in shelters or in places not meant for human
habitation (e.g. living on the streets or car) to move as quickly as possible into permanent housing and
achieve housing stability. Services will be provided in Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbury, New
London and Hartford areas.

New London Project Longevity Request for Proposals

The Justice Education Center, Inc., is seeking proposals from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to provide case management services to individuals at risk of participation in gun violence and their families through CT Project Longevity, a gun violence reduction program. Services will be provided within the New London area.
